About

The Marin Pirates Masters Swim Team, located at College of Marin’s Indian Valley Campus in Novato, California, is a new branch of Marin’s most established competitive swim team. We are eager to embrace all levels of adult swimmers (18+) including:

•    Beginners
•    Fitness Lap Swimmers
•    Triathletes & open water swimmers
•    Ex-swimmers returning to the water
•    Year-round masters-level competitors (local/national/international)

Our Workouts:

The Pirates hold seven 75-minute workouts per week at IVC’s beautiful outdoor, 50 meter by 25 yard, heated pool.  We offer support for a healthy lifestyle through friendship and a sense of community.

•    All workouts are run by a coach on deck, no dry erase boards!
•    Coaching staff will attend optional meets for interested swimmers.
•    Technique clinics offered by Warren Lager
•    Weekly long course practice in Marin’s only 50 meter pool!

• Fill out the MPM Team Sign Up Form (The coach can also email this to you and has this form at the pool)
• Dues are $80 per month for individuals and $75 for a second family member.
• Alternative billing tiers are available (see Billing under the About menu at top of page here)
• Please make your dues checks out to “Marin Pirates Swim Team” and send them to: 22 Corona Court, Novato, CA  94945, or simply give them to the coach on deck. You also have the option to sign up for automatic payment through your checking account.
